Occasionally, I come across one of those little programs that saves a lot of time. In this instance, I found HTML Calendar Maker Pro. This program specializes in exactly what the title says: Making professional HTML calendars.
I needed to make some quick HTML calendars to post to the Internet and, at the same time, print in traditional calendar format for distribution among several people. I started to code all the tables by hand, but after searching on google, I found this program.
Installation and Set-up Installation was fairly simple. Just download the program from downloads.com and execute it. There is no need to reboot and I was making my first calendar in minutes.
Making Calendars The program is a piece of cake to use. Virtually no programming knowledge is needed. Upon starting the program, a tutorial is available in the left hand side of the screen. Although it's called a "tutorial", it's more like a wizard or guide to make the calendar process easier. I've been using the program for months and I still use the tutorial.
The program gives you the ability to create a calendar for any month in any year. The days and dates are already arranged for you. Weeks can start on Sunday or Monday.
I do wish it had the ability to start on any day. It would also be very helpful if the program could cover any given number of days as opposed to just a month. Sometimes I just need a calendar for the week or even a couple of days.
HTML Calendar Maker Pro gives the user plenty of flexibility when customizing calendars. Background, text, numbers, font, and borders can all be modified. The program comes with some pre-set styles and there are more styles available on the htmlcalendar.com and it's very easy to use the built-in customizer.
Other options include whether or not to show weekdays, how to display months and days, and how to display numbers. There are also insert options for bullet points, links, and pop-up links. And let's not forget that HTML Calendar Maker Pro is multilingual.
Sample Calendars I made for June, 2002 The following calendars were made in a minutes utilizing all of HTML Calender Maker's features. Once I had all the events entered in, changing the color scheme took seconds.

There are more samples on the program's site.
Time and Money Saver What ultimately makes HTML Calendar Maker Pro great is the amount of time and money it saves. I can create calendars in about four minutes whereas it would have taken me a half hour to do it from scratch.
The program only costs $25.00. If you need a quick HTML calendar maker, then this is a great buy.
There is also a Mac version available.
