After Effects Most Wanted released

Press Release
October 19, 2002

after_effects2 (12k image)After Effects Most Wanted was written with the concept of demonstrating what Adobe's After Effects can really do when pushed to the limits. The authors, all professionals who use After Effects to make a living, share the secrets of their successes, including the reasoning behind their methods. This book is full of tutorials and samples to inspire users of After Effects.

After reviewing Foundation Illustrator 10 and Rich Media StudioLab, this is Scott's third editing project for friends of Ed. 'friends of Ed certainly isn't hiring me for my agreeability when it comes to reviewing these books,' Scott said after reviewing the third book. 'While I typically have plenty of positive feedback for books by friends of Ed, when I feel a chapter doesn't fit or should be totally scrapped, I tell them so very plainly. So far, they seem to appreciate the input and I'm glad to give it.'

Scott's next book reviewing/editing project is not a technical book, but a historical one. Set for release in December of this year, this yet-to-be-titled book by author Frank Viola covers the origins of today's Protestant practices.
